Big Top Ball – the great Charities Ball – ended up being a very nice night out. While there were a couple minor hiccups, it was good fun and a great end to another incredible On The Rocks festival.
Last night the circus came to town and it was a fantastic show!
The premise to yesterday's production of The Secret Garden was quite intriguing seeing this classical children's book adapted to stage and performed in the enchanting garden of St Mary's Quad. Unfortunately the weather gods changed their minds on the weather and due to rain and cold the production had to be moved to the union's Venue 1. This last minute move cost the cast and production team quite a bit of worry and suddenly the show had no set. The director explained this to the audience at the beginning of the show and asked them to let their imagination go wild.
