Revision week can be a dark and gloomy time. Christmas can seem both imminent and unattainable. Fear not, however, as Owl Eyes would like to recommend something that is certain to reassert your festive spirit: A Charity Christmas Concert, a new event organised by St Salvator’s Chapel Choir, taking place at 7pm on Thursday, 6th December, in St Salvator’s Chapel.
In the library silent section, as much as I may wish it, I never can quite find the perfect moment to break out in Christmas song – this concert provides me with such an occasion and a much-needed break from the books. It truly is the perfect opportunity to unashamedly belt out all of your favourite Christmas songs. What more could one want from a Thursday evening in revision week?
With an impressive line-up including The Other Guys and St Katharine’s Choir, as well as St Salvator’s Chapel Choir themselves, this hour of yuletide cheer is not one to be missed.
Importantly, all proceeds are going to Frontline Fife, a wonderful charity who give crucial support to people who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Fife. So not only are you saving yourself from revision-induced insanity, but you are also helping those in need, particularly at this time of year when they are most vulnerable.
Owl Eyes looks forward to seeing many of our readers there.
