When deadlines become increasingly near, most of us loose the will to live, let alone trying to factor in the time to cook. Sometimes it’s easier to just grab the Nutella jar and give in to temptation, but I am going to save you from the one-way road to regret. This is a quick and simple snack you can make that will be just as good as Nutella, but is healthy and will sustain you for a long day of work.
This tastes AMAZING. Honestly, I don’t think I can explain to you how decadent and luxurious this beauty really is. It’s gooey and rich and resembles the texture and concept of Nutella, but has a deeper flavour and obviously much healthier and better for you.
It’s so easy to make too! I love this dip with a chopped up apple but it’s also great on pancakes, toast, with yoghurt or by itself. Literally it is so versatile.
This serving is the perfect amount to go with an apple, aka 1 portion. But by all means, if you’re feeling particularly naughty, go ahead and double the quantity.
- 1 tsp of tahini
- 1 tsp of cocoa
- ½ tsp of honey
- 1 tbsp of almond milk (or any milk)
Tips: If you find the tahini a bit to bitter, add some more honey to your liking.
Less almond milk will produce a thicker more gooey dip, and more almond milk will make a glossy sauce.
