The Sartoriowl

The ridiculously long hours of darkness may have played havoc with getting anything done post-sunset (at 3.30PM), but clearly haven’t affected the sartorial habits of night owls and other nocturnal creatures… Scarves, boots and hats may be out in full force, but they’re in colours that would put a bird of paradise to shame.

The Sartoriowl

The temperature is plummeting; the clocks go back on Sunday, marking the official end of (ahem) British Summer Time; the Scotch mist floats in over West Sands… In the eternal words of Eddard Stark – and also the graffiti on the wall on the way to the Sports Centre – winter is coming. Combat the chill with snuggly layers, woolly hats and Paddington Bear duffel-coats.
